The adult entertainment industry is mourning the tragic loss of Anna Beatriz Pereira Alves, known online as Anna Polly, who passed away on January 23 in Nova Iguaçu, Rio de Janeiro.
The 27-year-old reportedly fell from a hotel balcony while filming an X-rated scene. Authorities in Brazil have launched an official investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

Anna Beatriz, who went by the name Anna Polly on social media, was an adult content creator who had amassed a large following before her Instagram account was deactivated following her death.
On her profile on the adult content platform Only Fans, she described herself as ”short, tattooed, and with silicone breasts.”
On January 23, she was discovered in the courtyard of an aparthotel, and footage reportedly shows a police officer standing over a body covered with a blood-stained sheet.
Law enforcement officials are actively examining the details of the incident, including potential surveillance footage, witness testimonies, and phone records.
Anna was on the eighth floor of the hotel with several men, who are said to have been there to produce content for an adult platform. One of the initial theories explored was that she was filming pornographic scenes at the time of the incident.
Authorities believe the adult star lost her balance while attempting to climb onto the balcony railing of the hotel room, where she was with the other men.
The police initially worked with the hypothesis of suicide. However, as the investigation progressed, this possibility was ruled out, according to Brazilian media.
The two men who were present at the time of her death have provided conflicting statements, according to reports. After being questioned, they were released as the investigation continues. Investigators have confirmed that the two men, who were friends of the influencer, claimed they, along with Anna, had consumed drugs and alcohol in the hours leading up to her death, according to The Mirror.
