These Areas Are Under Immediate Threat Amid Pacific Palisades Fire

A fast-moving wildfire in Pacific Palisades has prompted a state of emergency and mandatory evacuations. The fire, which began on January 7, 2025, has burned over 1,260 acres and is uncontained, fueled by winds up to 60 mph. Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency, and evacuation orders have been issued for 15 areas in Los Angeles.
